About Kendall Hopwood (now Kendall Richmond!)

A San Diego native, I earned my Master’s degree in English from the University of California, Irvine after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English and minor in Psychology from San Diego State University. As an undergraduate, I also studied Shakespeare at Oxford University in England.

After several years teaching high school, I relocated to Seattle where I’ve worked as both a freelance writer as well as a marketing and communications specialist. The clients and companies I’ve worked for include: Starbucks Coffee Company, Expedia, Wunderman, FILTER, C Squared Advertising, Mills Communication Group, Builder/Architect Magazine, and more.

When I don’t have my virtual quill in hand, I enjoy horseback riding, practicing yoga, trying new vegetarian recipes, shopping at local farmers’ markets, and traversing the globe with my digital SLR in tow.
